Cool used car of the future: Dodge Hornet Concept
Dodge wants to replace the beleaguered Caliber. Wait, you don’t know what the Dodge Caliber is? That is precisely why Dodge wants to launch a brand new compact model. From the sounds of it, Dodge won’t call their new compact a Hornet (named after the Hudson Hornet), but with no other alternative, the Mojo Motors Blog will refer to Dodge’s new concept as the Hornet.
Developed with Fiat, Chrysler is hoping this compact hatchback will help the Dodge brand gain ground in the market. With its name still undecided, two thing remains certain – one, the Dodge Hornet Concept looks nothing like the Hudson Hornet and two, it stands out. In a segment dominated by the Ford Focus, Chevrolet Cruz, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, the Hornet’s styling cues seem inspired by the best of Fiat, the Hyundai Veloster and Kia Soul.
